Anyone interested in being a part of this on-going ministry to build Sheds of Hope to be sent to the MNA Disaster Response warehouse in GA, there will be work being done in the garage at 720 Oak Street, Elizabethton from 6:30-7:30 pm each Tuesday. Come when you can, for how ever long you can - any help would be welcome!!
School is back in session and it is time to get back to our mid-week activities. On Wednesday, August 21st our Wednesday dinners start again at 5:30 pm. There will be some changes to our Children and Youth programs (don’t miss out!) and they begin at 6:30 pm.
Come join us as we serve those in need in our community by providing a hot meal. We can use everyone to serve, heat food, wash dishes, sweep floors...remember Christ's words: "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me" Matthew 25:40
Join us in a picnic style Fellowship Lunch on June 16, 2019 following the worship service (12:00). We will also be welcoming Tim, Elizabeth, Caleb, Joshua, Annalee and Gideon Mindemann as our new Pastor and family! The church will be providing BBQ and slaw, we are asking each family to bring TWO of the following; beans, salads (not slaw), fruit or dessert. Don’t miss this special day of great food, wonderful fellowship and welcoming our new pastor!
The Senior High Choir of Independent Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN will kick-off their 25th annual summer tour here at Memorial on May 30th at 7 pm. The choir is composed of approximately30 students, grades 9-12. The group’s choral repertoire features a diverse selection of styles, including sacred classical, hymns, folk, spirituals and popular sacred music. Several vocal and instrumental solos will also be included in the 50-minute sacred program which is followed by a short performance of choreographed popular selections, presented by the Senior High Ensemble. The concert is free and open to the public.
He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed! Celebrate with us on Easter Sunday, April 21st at 10:45 am. “But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities: the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5.
As we celebrate spring, the Easter season and Palm Sunday, we will be having an April Fellowship Lunch following the morning services on April 14th. Plan to stay and fellowship with us! We are asking each family to bring a Main Dish AND a side, salad or dessert to share.
