Rev. Tim Mindemann

Tim with his wife Elizabeth and their 4 children moved from Pennsylvania to be Memorial’s Pastor in 2019. Tim was educated at Lancaster Bible College (Pennsylvania), Reformed Theological Seminary (Washington DC), and Lamp Theological Seminary. He is a member of Highlands Presbytery of the PCA. Before coming to East Tennessee, Tim was a Youth Pastor at a PCA church in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania for 11 years.

His greatest hope in ministry is that the good news of the gospel would be made clear in all he does. He is inspired and humbled by the words of Paul in 1 Corinthians 1:27–31 (ESV): “But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”

Tim can often be seen at the Coffee Company downtown, hiking or fishing with his family in beautiful Carter County, playing video games with his kids, or discussing a new book with Elizabeth on the front porch.
